The annual Aoyama Festival, also known as the Aoyama Matsuri takes place at the Aoyama Campus — part way between Shibuya and Omotesandō Stations.
What happens?
The event draws huge crowds, with over 150,000 attending the event in normal years. This year, the theme for the event is Grace – Showcasing Your Feelings.
Organized by the local merchants association and the students of Aoyama Gakuin, the festival has included a number of different types of events along with markets, talk shows, concerts, and a fashion show.
