The Ume (Plum) Garden at Jindai Botanical Garden bursts with life, color, and music during winter.
What happens?
The gardens have 150 plum trees with around 70 varieties — catch vivid red blossoms as well as pink. The festival is held to coincide when the flowers are in full bloom.
Schedule 2024
The best time to go will be on February 23 when a special concert will be held. Performances will start at 11:15 a.m. and then again from 2:15 p.m. During the weekends and on holidays, there will be food cars.
How to get there
The best way to get to Jindai Botanical Garden is to get the Keio Line train from Shinjuku Station to Chōfu (around 20 minutes) and then get a bus to the park (around 15 minutes).
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.Mid
