Not only will the tower be lit up, but the entire Skytree Town will be too.
What happens?
The Sky Arena area will be lit up with warm lights and an 8-meter-tall white Christmas tree will be displayed. But that’s not all, there will be a Christmas market, projections, and performances throughout the event period.
The Mizumachi Illuminations (along the Sumida River) will be lit until March 10, 2024.
Schedule 2023
From November 9, the long-awaited Christmas Market will be back with a bang. Fill up on beer, sweets, and other yuletide treats at the foot of Tokyo Skytree from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Throughout the whole event period, Tokyo Skytree will also feature Christmas-themed photo spots on the observation deck and the planetarium will also have a special display.
From December 15, there will be projection mapping synched with a special Christmas performance in the Sky Arena.
